Linear polynomial is a polynomial of degree 1. P(x) = x is an identity polynomial. The understanding of this to be done as stated below: A linear polynomial is that function that can be expressed on a graph by a simple line. For a example ; x=1 means a vertical line parallel to y axis. Y could be any number for e.g. 1, 2, 3,-10,-100.
